12 Days from Tangier to Marrakech
Day 1: Tangier Arrival and City Tour
Your journey begins in Tangier. Your private driver meets you and takes you into the city. You explore the old medina, the Kasbah and the Grand Socco. Then, you visit Cap Spartel, where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Mediterranean Sea. You also discover the Caves of Hercules and enjoy the coastal scenery. Afterward, you walk through the historic streets and discover local cafés and small shops. Your guide explains the history of this important northern city. In the afternoon, you have free time to relax or continue exploring. Finally, you return to your accommodation and enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner. You spend the night in Tangier.
Day 2: Tangier – Chefchaouen – Fes
After breakfast, you leave Tangier and travel through the Rif Mountains toward Chefchaouen. The famous blue city offers narrow streets, blue houses and peaceful squares. You walk through the old medina and discover local craft shops. Then, you continue toward Fes. Along the way, the scenery changes from green mountain landscapes to wider valleys. Day 3: Fes Guided Tour
Today, you discover Fes with a local guide. You explore the historic medina, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Then, you walk through narrow lanes filled with traditional shops and artisan workshops. You visit the Bou Inania Madrasa, the Nejjarine area and the famous tanneries. You also see the exterior of the Royal Palace and the old Jewish quarter. During the visit, your guide explains the history and traditions of the city. After lunch, you continue through the souks and discover Moroccan craftsmanship. Later, you return to your riad and enjoy a relaxed evening. This guided day gives you time to understand the culture and history of Fes.
Day 4: Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Merzouga
After breakfast, you leave Fes and travel south toward the Sahara. First, you cross the Middle Atlas Mountains and stop in Ifrane. Then, you continue through cedar forests and mountain valleys toward Midelt. The landscape changes as you travel farther south. After Midelt, you follow the Ziz Valley and enjoy beautiful views over the palm-filled landscape. You continue toward Erfoud and finally reach Merzouga in the afternoon. The golden dunes of Erg Chebbi appear on the horizon. You settle into your accommodation and enjoy the peaceful desert atmosphere. If time allows, you watch the sunset over the dunes. You spend the night in Merzouga.
Day 5: Merzouga Desert Experience
Today is dedicated to the Merzouga desert. After breakfast, you explore the region by 4×4. You visit desert villages and learn about local traditions. You also discover nomadic culture and meet local communities. Later, you return toward Merzouga and have time to relax. In the afternoon, you begin a camel trek across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. The camels take you into the desert while the colors change around you. At sunset, you arrive at your Sahara camp. You enjoy a traditional dinner and local music around the fire. Finally, you spend the night in the desert camp under the stars.
Day 6: Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley
You wake early to watch the sunrise over Erg Chebbi. After breakfast, you leave Merzouga and travel toward Rissani. The town is known for its traditional souk and historic importance. Then, you continue toward the Todra Valley. You arrive at the Todra Gorge, where impressive limestone cliffs rise on both sides. You walk through the gorge and enjoy the fresh mountain air. Day 8: Ait Ben Haddou – High Atlas – Marrakech
Today, your journey continues from Ait Ben Haddou to Marrakech. You cross the High Atlas Mountains through the Tizi n’Tichka pass. The road offers spectacular views of mountain valleys, Berber villages and rocky peaks. Along the way, you stop at viewpoints and small villages when possible. Your driver explains the local landscape and mountain lifestyle. After crossing the pass, the scenery becomes greener as you approach Marrakech. You arrive in the Red City in the afternoon. Day 11: Essaouira – Marrakech

Day 12: Marrakech Departure
