4 Days tour Marrakech Sahara desert Trip

After breakfast, your Marrakech Sahara desert journey continues towards Merzouga. First, we travel through traditional Berber villages and continue towards Tinghir. We cross the beautiful Tinghir oasis before reaching the impressive Todra Gorges.

Here, you have time to walk through the canyon and enjoy the dramatic rock formations. Moreover, the area offers excellent opportunities for photographs. After lunch, we continue through the palm groves of Tinjdad and towards Erfoud.

As we travel farther south, the landscape gradually becomes more arid. Finally, we reach the Merzouga desert and the golden Erg Chebbi dunes.

In the afternoon, you begin your camel ride across the dunes. The camel trek takes you through the peaceful Sahara landscape. Along the way, you can admire the changing colours of the sand and enjoy the desert atmosphere.

Later, we stop to watch the sunset from the dunes. Afterwards, you continue to the desert camp. In the evening, you enjoy a traditional Berber dinner around the campfire. You also listen to local music and relax under the stars. You spend the night in a traditional nomadic-style camp.

The third day of your Marrakech Sahara desert trip begins early. First, you wake up to admire the spectacular sunrise over the Erg Chebbi dunes. After breakfast, you return towards the village of Merzouga by camel.

Next, we continue by 4×4 to explore the desert region. The excursion takes you beyond the main dunes and introduces you to the traditional life of the Sahara.

First, we visit a nomadic family living in the desert. You have the opportunity to meet the family, learn about their lifestyle, and share traditional tea with them. This experience provides a genuine insight into life in the Sahara.

Afterwards, we continue towards Taouz. Here, you discover ancient rock engravings in the desert landscape. Then, we continue to Khamlia village, which is famous for its Gnaoua music and cultural traditions.

You enjoy local Gnaoua music before having a traditional Berber lunch. After lunch, we return towards Merzouga and the desert camp.

Finally, you return to the camp by camel. You spend your second night in the desert surrounded by the Erg Chebbi dunes. In the evening, enjoy dinner and another peaceful night under the Saharan sky.

After breakfast and a hot shower, we leave the desert and begin the journey back to Marrakech. First, we travel towards Rissani, an important historic town in the Tafilalt region. Here, you can explore the famous local market and discover the traditional atmosphere of southern Morocco.

Next, we continue towards the Tazarine palm grove. The landscape changes again as we travel through palm oases and desert villages.

Afterwards, we reach Nkob, a traditional Berber village known for its many kasbahs. Here, you can meet local people and learn more about the Ait Atta culture and traditions.

Then, we continue through the beautiful Draa Valley towards Agdz. The valley is famous for its extensive palm groves and historic kasbahs. In Agdz, we visit the impressive Tamnougalt Kasbah.

Finally, we continue towards Ouarzazate before crossing the High Atlas Mountains once again. The road offers spectacular mountain views and several photo opportunities.

At the end of the day, we arrive in Marrakech and drop you off at your accommodation. Your 4 Days Marrakech Sahara desert Trip adventure ends after four days of discovering mountains, kasbahs, oases, valleys, and the Sahara.
