Day 1 – Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Merzouga
Your journey begins in Fes as you leave the historic city and travel toward the Sahara Desert. You cross the beautiful Middle Atlas Mountains and stop in Ifrane, a peaceful mountain town known for its green spaces and European-style architecture. You then continue through the cedar forests near Azrou, where you may see Barbary macaques. Afterward, the road takes you toward Midelt, surrounded by impressive mountain landscapes. You continue through the Ziz Valley, where green palm groves create a beautiful contrast with the rocky scenery. You continue to Ouarzazate, often called the gateway to the Sahara. The city is famous for its kasbahs and film studios. From Ouarzazate, you travel toward Ait Ben Haddou, one of Morocco’s most famous fortified villages. You explore its narrow streets and traditional earthen buildings while discovering the history of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. After the visit, you continue through the High Atlas Mountains. The road offers spectacular views of valleys, mountain villages, and winding roads. You finally arrive in Marrakech in the evening and check into your accommodation.
Day 4 – Marrakech Guided Tour
Today, you discover Marrakech with a local guide. You begin with the famous Koutoubia Mosque before entering the historic medina. You walk through the narrow streets and colorful souks while discovering traditional Moroccan crafts and local life. Then visit the beautiful Bahia Palace and the Saadian Tombs, two important historical sites in the city. Depending on your interests, you can also visit the Majorelle Garden and explore the modern Gueliz district. In the afternoon, you have free time to enjoy Marrakech at your own pace.
