2 days Trip Marrakech to Zagora desert

Your Marrakech Zagora tour begins with pickup from your accommodation in Marrakech. First, we leave the city and travel towards the High Atlas Mountains. The road climbs through impressive mountain scenery and traditional Berber villages. Therefore, the journey already offers many opportunities to stop and take photos.

We continue across the High Atlas towards Ait Ben Haddou. Here, we visit the famous fortified village and explore its narrow streets and traditional earthen buildings. The historic site is one of the best-known kasbahs in Morocco. You can also learn more about its history and cultural importance during your visit.

Afterwards, we continue towards Ouarzazate and Agdz. The landscape gradually changes as we enter southern Morocco. Along the way, we make photo stops at scenic viewpoints. Then, we follow the Draa Valley towards Zagora. This green valley is famous for its palm groves, traditional villages, and dramatic desert surroundings.

Later, we arrive near Zagora. You then enjoy a camel ride through the desert landscape. As the sun goes down, the desert becomes calm and peaceful. Finally, we reach the desert camp. In the evening, you enjoy a traditional dinner and relax under the stars.

Next, we continue towards Ouarzazate. We stop near the famous Taourirt Kasbah, where you can take photos and enjoy the surrounding scenery. Ouarzazate is also well known for its film studios and its connection with international cinema.

After the visit, we continue north towards the High Atlas Mountains. The road offers changing landscapes, mountain views, and traditional villages. Moreover, several viewpoints provide excellent opportunities for photographs.

Finally, we cross the High Atlas and return to Marrakech. We drop you off at your accommodation at the end of the day.
